It’s been said that there are two types of homes those with termites and those that will get termites.
The most destructive kind of termite is the Subterranean termite. They eat a lot of wood! They destroy the foundation of buildings, plastic plumbing pipes, wooden support beams, insulation, and sub-flooring. Termites can also destroy your swimming pool’s liner and filtration system on top of damaging or completely destroying living trees and plants.
“Its Like A Home Security System For Termites”
Without a treatment or a regulated monitoring system such as Termite Monitoring, termites can go unnoticed for years while continuing to damage the construction of your home. By installing monitoring stations we will know if a termite threat arises. Your technician will typically place 6-10 stations around the foundation of your home. These stations will be monitored at least every 3 months.
But How Do I Know If They Are Being Checked?
Answer: Barcodes. A unique barcode located under the lid of each station will be scanned by your Pest Professional. You will receive a full report via email after each service informing you of our findings. When it comes to termites you should be certain that your are certain.
Any money invested towards Termite Monitoring in the previous 12 months will act as a credit if a termite invasion ever occurs, and a treatment is needed.
